WordPress 101 – Should or Should not use WordPress Media Library

The Media menu can be used to manage your existing media files, such as images, audio, videos, and documents. However, do you know how to attach and use images within a blog post or web page of WordPress? Don’t be too worry about that, today I will share with you what I experienced and hopefully you can get some things from good documentation.

The first thing you need to know is an attachment. The attachment is a content type within WordPress. There are template pages within WordPress themes that handle how to display attachments, and they are managed by hooks, and in the database there are fields that store the values associated with an attachment. This thing is very important because if you don’t treat images as attachments then you will miss out a lot of the features within WordPress for handling them.

When perusing the WordPress Media Library, you need to notice that there are no folders or categories, just as a long list of images. If you have a lot of images, not having anyway to filter or sort images quickly.

This video will let you know anything about WordPress Media Library. You will learn How to Upload documentation, images, audio and media, How to Edit images from the following video of wpmudev.org on Themelead.com.
